Eugene P. Baxendale, P.E.

As Principal in Charge of OSports, Gene is responsible for general oversight of projects to dedicate the necessary resources for projects so that client expectations and needs are met. He participates in the upfront planning of projects, helping to define project scope, schedule and budget. Gene also acts as liaison between architecture and engineering, and coordinates engineering services and specialized consultants such as lighting, sound systems, wayfinding, seating, pool consultants, and others. Gene has more than 25 years of experience in sports and recreation facility engineering and design, allowing him to offer insights and understand trends based on his in depth experience. His project experience includes Ohio Stadium — Ohio's largest stadium renovation project; The College of Wooster Master Plan for concept development of a student recreation center; and an Athletic Master Plan for Lake Erie College. Gene earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Cleveland State University and a Masters in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace.
